| Yes, it makes a difference. No one has been disappointed with the improvement
in tone, volume, and sustain that this material provides over bone. I
carry fossil products, including bridge pins, from Vintage
Ventures I'm particularly impressed with bridge pins made from fossilized walrus jaw bone (why don't we call it "FWJ" ?). It's affordable, and the improvement in tone is undeniable. I've decided it will be standard equipment on my custom steel strings. Feel free to call or email for
